"Greyhound Rescue"
I found Amy Krivoshik's article "Greyhound Rescue" depressing due to the fact that it discusses what becomes of greyhounds that do not make it to the tracks. The article informs readers of what a tough life this breed of dogs live. Being used as a way of making money, they do no receive the chance to live with a human companion. The saddest part is finding out that more than 50,000 greyhounds are bred a year, but only 15,000 actually make it to the tracks. Thank you Amy for such an informative article that has enlightened me of the treatment towards these fast and strong breed of dogs.
