Just Because
I believe that “just because” written by Ruth O. was well written, and I love the content of the poem. She writes about being broken and that she hasn’t completely fallen apart, but things aren’t looking that well. She is broken inside and is filled with sadness and despair in her life. But she isn’t pushed so far where she completely lost. She wrote it as being afraid, damaged, and alone.
Her life is trouble, but she isn’t bundled up so tight that she has completely shut out of the world for eternity. I sort of relate to this poem because there were times when I just wanted to completely give up on life itself. But I keep pursuing the future and what it may have for me. I love the order she puts the poem in it’s very inspiring.
