I feel that “Love Yourself First” by Ash R. to be a relating story to many people.  She wrote about how she met a boy that wanted her to change who she was and how she dressed.  He made her take out her piercings, die her hair, dress differently, and change what music she listened to.  When she wanted him to stop smoking, he just brushed her off.  He wanted her to change for him, but he didn’t want to change for her.  At the end, she gave the advice to never let your boyfriend or girlfriend change who you are. 

People can relate to this story because many of them change for certain people.  They feel that there significant other won’t love them if they don’t change.  When in all reality, they fell in love with them for the person who they are in the first place.  I learned that the most important thing is to love yourself, and if people want to change you, it’s not worth it.
