"I Am a Lifeguard" Response
In the writing titled “I Am a Lifeguard” written by Jonah F. I felt shocked about the life of a lifeguard left me feeling that a job isn’t as always as it seems.
I may not have a job or connect to this story in like others that read this will, but this story showed me what it’s like to have a job . I agree with him when he says, “…I am a lifeguard, they give me a hard time for choosing the “easisest job ever”. I never thought having such a simple job like a lifeguard could impact someones life so much. When he saved that girl from drowning I was thinking about how he had to be brave to save her. I can relate when he says, “My legs felt like jelly.” I can relate to this maybe not in the way he wanted it to come across , but it was my first day of high school. I was nervous when I walked into my first class. This story shows that even the easiest jobs deserves the bravest people.
