Letter to Myself
I can relate to Clarie W. on her article, "Letter to Myself." Her article speaks about how she shouldn't worry so much about how society sees her. She says, "Let me ask you this: All these days you spend filling and bleaching and plucking, All the nights you sleep naked" (5). This is very beneficial for young girls to read this article, because it tells younger girls you don't have to worry about meeting society's standards of "beauty."Thank you Claire for writing this letter to yourself and saying how doing all of society's "beauty" things are unnecessary.
