"Puberty" by Lily Cannon
“Puberty” by Lily C. is a piece of writing that I looked into and smiled in remembrance of my childhood. The only thing I disagree with was the part that said, “Puberty is the worst.” Puberty helped me out a lot and gave me the confidence I needed to survive this rough path called “high school.” Miss C. has truly experienced puberty personally. She has definitely stared puberty in the face but the meeting was not great. The line that I connected with the most was “But adulthood waits patiently around the corner.” This doesn’t worry me but I just know that I am caught up in a moment and soon it will fade away.
