The Hard Part
Fighting a battle all on my own
I was chosen for reasons unknown
They push me into lockers and make fun of my hair.
Come home crying but mother doesn’t care.
She says I need to quit whining and pissing them off.
Father can’t even feed himself,
every time I see him he is drunk of mad.
Never really had a reason to call him “Dad”
Too nervous to complete my homework,
once an A student now failing.
These kids can be so cruel,
I am now considering dropping out of school.
Government won’t let me so there goes option two and three.
Only choice I have now is one,
prescription drugs aren’t that hard to come upon.
Take one or two, I’m out for a while.
Take the whole thing and goodbye tomorrow.
