Pursuit of Happiness

A Common desire of the world “ The Pursuit of Happiness ” In order for each and every person to pursue their individual pursuit of posterity our society must have equal opportunities so that we have equal rights to pursue the same goals as anyone else. The government, we as citizens has elected to create an ideal society so that we can live not in fear but with the peace of mind knowing that we have higher authority watching over us. The government ’ s role in the Pursuit of Happiness as stated in the Declaration of Independence says that “ We hold the truths to be self- evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their creator with certain unalienable rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and The Pursuit of Happiness- that to secure these rights, governments are instituted among men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed ” . We the people of the United States as stated in the Preamble elect government officials to make sure that we are safe and that we can pursue happiness knowing that justice will be served and that government up here to providing the citizens with equal duties. Happiness is created by love, when you express the emotion of love you create happiness and joy within yourself. That ’ s why happiness is not just a state of mind; it ’ s also a state of emotion! It ’ s the emotion everyone wants to feel whether it ’ s the joy of helping someone or just wanting to be apart of something great. Happiness is not a condition but an ideal of ever- changing aspirations. It is never ending process of inner growth, something that can ’ t be possessed. We all have the right to live and happiness is a key element that is sought in keeping with the fundamentals of a man ’ s liberty. It ’ s part of our natural instinct to want to pursue happiness. Happiness lies in freedom of opportunity of the individual for a person to strive their best in order to realize their fullest, highest potential with regard to all aspects of life. Everyone is different from each other; we all have different aspects of how happiness feels and what can trigger that longing desire that one desperately is in need of. When it comes to pursuing happiness I must control it if I want to he happy. It ’ s all up to the decisions I make and what challenges and life obstacles I face that will help me on the road to pursuing the greater good of the true emotion everyone wants to feel. My happiness is something that I don ’ t have to work for, it ’ s apart of my everyday life. But the way to pursing my ultimate happiness is being able to graduate from high school with honors, being able to attend the same higher education with my boyfriend at the University of South Florida, and getting married. I already am pursuing happiness by enjoying all of what life ’ s offering me through my friends and my love ones that have given me aspirations to be a better person and trying to make a change in the world starting with my community. I ’ m on my way to the Pursuit of Happiness!
