The New Teammate
She walked into practice,
Not knowing how to dive.
Smack after smack,
But she only got laughed at.
Years gone by,
She still had no friends.
The team was united,
Except for that one.
She didn’t fit in,
And just because she wasn’t good.
She grew as a diver,
But the team grew to know her too.
She was then accepted,
But not right away.
Because she was a diver,
that started off bad.
