You Are the Only One
It’s almost as the whole world stops when I see you. My heart skips a beat and I can’t breathe whenever you are around. You are the only happy thing that I have in my life, the only person I can look to for help and the only one who can save me. You keep me away from all of the demons that are in my head. You help me fight the fear that I will never be accepted, and that no one will ever love me. You are the ray of light in the middle of the storm, and when things get bad, I can look to you to keep me from doing something that I would regret. But sometimes it feels like you don’t even see me, like I’m invisible only to you. I try to tell you how much you mean to me, but it never comes out right. I’ll change the topic, or say something wrong. But this doesn't change the fact that I love you.
