Review of Finding The Blessing from Holiday Heart
Dear Literary Canon Board of Directors,
I am writing this letter because i believe the poem finding the blessing should be included in the literary canon for many reasons
the first reason i believe finding the blessing should be be included in the literary canon is because it is a heart felt poem that makes you think just by the way she reads the poem the way she puts power into her words and the love she has for her mom.The second reason is because it has a lot of power in the way it is written she says she wants to know the answer to the answers. She has a lot of questions and she talks about not liking the sound of her own voice. The last reason is it touches the hearts and minds of the people who know what she feels because she wants answers that other people may have wanted in their own life and she cries for love most importantly she just wants everything to be okay.As you can see Finding the blessing is deserving of the litrary canon because this poem is a heart felt letter to her mom about how she wants her so badly to for her mom to change her ways for the better not the worst but it is to late once her mother passes.
I hope that you will consider this choice for the literary canon. Thank you very much.
Sincerely,
Cachia G.
