Lack of Access to Education
To Whomever it May Concern,
Almost everywhere around the globe, children are being deprived of their childhood educations. Whether the kid lives in Africa, or in America, many children are underprivileged when it comes to attending school. Rather than ignoring the fact that lack of access to education is a major epidemic, I am here to tell the facts and give solutions on how to give these helpless children a great education and a bright future.
More than 100 million children do not have access to a schooling system. 15 percent of adolescents between 15 and 24 in third world countries are illiterate. 77 million children worldwide are not able to go to school due to lack of funds…. These three facts are just a fraction of the long list. Although many people that live in the US and many other fortunate countries do not about know this, I plan to raise awareness and shed light on this detrimental problem.
To begin, if a child does not receive a proper education, their future will not be as prosperous as it would have with an education. A study conducted in 2014 shows that someone who does not receive a high school diploma earns about forty one thousand less dollars annually than that of a person who obtains a college education. With this deficit, it is hard for the adolescents when they are grown up to get ahead of the competition and have a successful and happy career. It is impossible to obtain this though, if adolescents do not receive an appropriate education in their young adult lives. Whether the child cannot go to school because of their gender, wealth, geography of where they live, or any other reason, it is inexcusable to deny them of their learning. It is not morally right, and also not intellectually smart to hold children back because they are denied of their basic and further levels of education.
If you feel passionate and want to do more to help children achieve their goals and aspirations, go to this website, or this one, to donate to this very worthy cause. There are also many other websites that help adolescents get to a tremendous school that will give the child a tremendous education, which will lead to a tremendous life.
Thank you for your time, and I hope that you consider this a feasible option to not only raise funds, but more importantly... awareness on this issue.
Sincerely,
A concerned citizen
