Seven Minutes
I feel the rush of the air as my legs pump to jump out of the swing. I smell the markers and paints as I finish my first masterpiece. I hear the pomp and circumstance of graduation as I walk down the aisle. I dance to the music of my first college party. I get dizzy as the beer and whiskey sets in for the first time. I spot my soon to be husband standing at the end of the aisle.
I step on the warm sand and smell the salty air while I hold his hand. I push in the delivery room and listen to the cries of my new baby. I hear her little feet running around the living room. I watch the swervy driver go on and off the road. I feel the seat belt catch my body. I sense the blood running down my face. I walk towards the light.
