Letter To Me

Dear me,

It’s always about you. It’s always about what you want. It’s never about others. You think that you act for others when in the end, it’s all for you image. You scheme and plan it in your head, thinking if you do this in front of this person, they’ll think that thought, so you do it. And it ends up doing nothing. It’s all to get you attention. Why do you want it? You never get it half the time, and when you do, it’s never what you expected. It’s always short lived and most of the time, you either regret it, or it comes back as something that hits you in the face as hard as possible. You embarrass me, the way you act. You think you have talent. You think you’re pretty, you think you’re a bit more okay than others, you think that you’ve gone through worse, you think that you understand yourself, you think you understand this world better than they do. You think you’re smart enough, you think you work hard enough, you think you’re sweet enough, you think you’re enough. While everyone in this world is fed lies of how we aren’t enough, and some clear headed beings tell us the truth that we are enough, but that even if we are enough for ourselves, we’ll never be enough for God, while everyone tells us that, YOU KNOW YOU AREN’T ENOUGH AND YET YOU STILL THINK THAT YOU ARE.

Who are you to think all that?

Who are you to think that you are enough?

You are me.

That’s who you are.

That’s who you were always meant to be.

And I feel sorry for you.

That you think all that, but you’re still me.

I’m really sorry.

But I want to tell the truth.

And I want to do better. God can guide me, and He can guide you too. He can guide anyone else in this world according to His will, because of this love He has can’t be understood by any person on this earth. He will guide you with that love. He will be with you the whole way.

I just hope you can remember that.

Because you will never, ever be even close to enough.

For this world. And for Him.

From,

me
