the human heart

I am so confused as to why the human heart feels the way it does. I wish I could understand it. You think you are over someone and try to move on to someone new but now you find your self feeling more strongly about her than I ever did but now I have already made another comitment and what happens now If she comes back to me I want to be with her agian but how would I get off without hurting the other and now I am more confused than I ever was If so then I should have waited and been patient which is normally one of me greatest virtues.
