The writer Ben Mikaelsen, came to our school and talked to our eighth grade class. It was a great experience appreciated by everyone.

I think that his speech inspired everyone to watch what they say and do to others. It made everyone realize that people are different. That they don’t fit in everywhere they go and that you should accept others as they are and shouldn’t want to change any part of them. People should accept the fact that if you show your uniqueness people will trust you and you will be able to trust yourself.

Our whole class is thankful to Mr. Mikaelsen for coming and talking to our eighth grade class of 2012.
