Haunted House
I forgot when the storm came, but whenever it did, it was the scariest thing ever. I was at the school but that’s not the scary part the scary part was when I was home after that alone without power playing slender on my laptop. Slender is a creepy game that doesn’t need internet and the guy pops up a lot. You are given a flashlight and a camera and you are placed into the woods alone with a monster from an urban legend. You are to find 8 pages and escape the woods without him killing you. When your camera gets fuzzy, that’s when you realize he’s near you.
I was in my room playing the game and once I found two pages. This is when he normally would start trying to kill you. The first time I saw him I flipped out and ran away and the second time I saw him I spun around and ran into a tree which caught me and I tried to move but slender was too fast he caught me and killed me with in seconds. I decided to go and get food from my fridge. When I reached my fridge, there were sticky notes on it like pages, saying, “STAY OUT, GO AWAY, NO.” By this point in time I was a little freaked out. I ran back into my room and started texting a girl from Norwalk but after about like 7 or so texts my phone started blinking and warning me to charge my phone but the storm knocked out the power. So, now I was really really freaked out.
I decided to go and get a drink, and try and forget what was happening, and when I walked in front of my basement I heard a growling noise and it sent a shiver down my spine. I kept walking past the stairs and went to get a drink. I turned on the faucet, and it sputtered out with water. I chugged my glass to get back into my room faster and away from the horrible, mysterious noise. When I walked back past the staircase it started growling again whatever IT was. I started to walk faster and decided to use the last bit of battery I had with my phone and call my sister because Addy was one of the first people I saw in my contacts.
I asked her where she was and she said she was five blocks away and asked me why. I lied and said I was just wondering. When she came home and walked through the door I was playing slender again and that was the last scare that happened to me that night. As me and my sister were talking we walked past the staircase. My eyes darted down the steps to see nothing. The noise had stopped now that someone else was in the house besides me. I always thought my basement was creepy and something was down there. I guess it just goes into hiding till I am home alone, vulnerable...
