Dear Russell Gudex:

I write to you, firstly, to let you know how much I have enjoyed coming to your restaurant in the past 15 years. Bringing my family and friends to the Olive Garden for all birthdays and special occasions is always a treat. Secondly, the service is usually phenomenal, as is the food and atmosphere. The Olive Garden has truly has become a favorite for me.

The most recent time I visited your restaurant, a few weeks ago, with my friends was different than my usual experiences. Instead of the warm welcome from our waiter/waitress we received an indifferent greeting, making us slightly uncomfortable. We also felt of feeling like an unwelcome chore our waiter was forced to attend to. On commercials, you flaunt the “endless soup, salad, and breadsticks” that come with every meal. However, along with our waiters less than friendly attitude, he was also inattentive to what we needed. He was reluctant to give us more breadsticks, soup or salad, even when we asked. In addition, we were a table of four, but after we asked for more breadsticks with our meal, he came back with only two.

Lastly, the original salad we received had multiple pieces frozen to the plate that my fingernail could barely pry off. I have been a loyal costumer for years and have come to expect better service and better quality food.

I chose to write to you and bring this to your attention because I know that this kind of situation is not common. I recommend your restaurant for every birthday, meeting, and friendly get-together because you treat your customers so well and your restaurant is such a friendly environment to be in. If you would like to contact me back, you can reach me at m.*****@gmail.com or the above address. Thank you for taking the time to read my letter.

Sincerely,

Maggie Dawes

I was highly unstatisifed with my experience and I decided to write something because it's usually one of my favorite restaurants.
