My Story on Alcohol

We all like to party and drink alcohol and have a great time with friends. However, let me tell you why you shouldn't do that. Alcohol is b in my opinion, something the devil created so he can ruin our lives even though we see alcohol as a drink that allows people to test their limits. Today I'm going to explain why you should not drink alcohol and how it affects your life and everyone else's life around you.

Alcohol has had a big impact in my life and it was in a negative way. My father wasn't an abusive person but he was very vocal and mean under the influence of alcohol. My father has torn my family apart because of his addiction to drinking. People get very needy when addicted; they go to the extreme of lying and hurting people while drinking. Today, my father is two years alcohol free but the hurtful memories he brought into my family will never be forgotten.

The basis of parties now-a-days consist of bad decision making and alcohol. Now I'm not saying every party is bad, I am just saying that based on movies and from stories I have heard most revolve around alcohol. I don't want alcoholism to run through my family anymore, so I'm going to stay away from alcohol and other terrible things. I hope all who are reading this understand that I don't want alcohol to hurt you all like it has hurt me.

I am assuming that we have all seen alcohol related crashes on the news or maybe experienced one. Some people don't realize how big of an impact this has on families and individuals. Alcohol is pretty high up there when it comes to factors in murders and crashes. Once again I just want to save you from having to deal with this in your life, because alcohol and its side effects emotionally and physically affects you badly.

I would like to share a quote that sums up my paper pretty well. "Alcohol can ruin your life and the lives of others, so why even take one drink?" - Duane Alan Hahn. I hope I got my message across and I would like to thank you for reading my story. I hope I have given you a different perspective on alcohol.
