Video games are very popular they are everywhere. Video games have changed big time but not really in a good way. There has been a debate on whether kids should play video games or not because of the scale of violence there showing.

Parents are saying that there kids should not play certain video games because of the violence. People are scared that kids that play violent video games are the kids who are going to become violent. Kids are seeing the September 11th attack and being able to play in it. Which is letting them fly in a plane and crashing buildings. Also in other games kids are stealing cars, killing people, shooting people, robbing, and saying bad language. Some kids are saying that video games are a learning target because they get to be in things like September 11th attack. But they are being the bad guys in it they are not being the innocent people they are being the criminals of the attack. Kids are getting anxiety, hard time eating, hard time sleeping, bad grades, and bad behavior from being with video games too much. Kids are playing violent video games at the age of 6 so at the age of 6 kids are playing video games that kill people and hear bad language. Seven billion dollars were spent on violent video games.

The good thing about video games is that when you buy them at some places they don’t let a certain age buy it without a parental guardian. So if a 6 year old wanted to buy a R rated video game which is not allowed for kids then that kid would have to have an adult with them. If they didn't have a adult with them then they would have to buy a E rated or a C rated video game because the E is for everyone and the C is for early childhood.

On the other hand we don’t really know that violent video games are the reason kids are violent. But kids that were criminals did play violent video games in their history.

So that tells you that video games needs to be less violent for kids and also tells you that parents should take control.
