The Profoundness Of Dishes MAG
I used to wash the dishes
With my father at my side,
The radio humming in the background
While the faucet softly sighed.
The soapsuds would splish and splash,
Softly floating around
This connection between us
Had just recently been found.
We would chat a bit about
Our sometimes exciting day.
These are the memories
that will never fade away
That was all long ago
When I was very small.
That was before the dishwasher
Came and ruined it all.
