Hurricane Irma
Hurricane Irma itself is finally over. It started as a tropical storm on August 30, a little west from the Cabo Verde Islands. Its first landfall was on the Carribean Island, Barbuda. It has pummeled the Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico, Cuba, The Bahamas, and Florida. More than 22 people in florida alone died. It is estimated that 16 million people lost power.
