Who should be the teacher of the year.

Who should be teacher of the year. I think the strong an independent Ms Rebecca Sims deserve this reward. When you first meet her your ninth and tenth grade year your a lil scared to have her class I know I was. When you first get in her class you know she means business's. She'll teach and no one would interrupt her or play around and talk.

The first couple of months she was straight business. But once she gets use to you she lose in up a lil. She'll have her moments when she jokes around and laugh with us. Then she'll have us get serious so we can get our work done. She'll help us read the story's out of are literature books.

She does that because we don't understand lit writing. So when we read a sentence and don't know what it means she'll break it down for us. After she breaks it down we all understand it and are able to answer the question. She help us with resumes. She helps us with us by giving us collage information and she helps us mail things to collages we wanna get into.

I learned more in two days in her class then any other English class I had. All the things I didn't know my ninth and tenth grade year I learned it in Sims class. She explained it better then my previous English teachers. English wasn't my strongest subject before I had sims class. But once I got in there I learned more and more each and everyday.

I wasn't even close to passing the reading and English portion of the grad exam the first time I took it. But once I got sims class my grad exam score for English doubled from the last score. I still didn't pass it but I was closer then I was before. But I passed reading because of her help in class. But we went over some of the stuff I didn't know on the language. But with the help of her and ms jeffcoat I passed it the language portion of the grad exam.
