Mrs. Tenebruso
In my freshman year of high school, I had third block english with Laura Tenebruso. She was always funny and making people laugh. Throughout the year, my home life was a living nightmare. I was constantly fighting with my family and I was on the verge of being put in foster care. I wrote a poem for Mrs. Tenebruso's class to be presented in front of everyone. It was a poem about my life. I got up in front of the class and when I was done Mrs. Tenebruso had tears in her eyes. I've never had a teacher care about me like she does. She gave me a journal to write all my poetry in and offered to let me have tea and read poetry with her. Now, I am in foster care and I can still count on Mrs. Tenebruso when I need someone to talk to. She makes my life a much brighter place.
