A Reason to Change
Sometimes in life we don’t realize just how lucky we are but Dante can tell you just how it feels to loose basic freedoms we all are supposed to have. He’s made incredible progress this year. He says his favorite class is robotics because most people in there are really nice to me!
In fourth grade he had a severe asthma attack which caused him to loose feeling in his fingertips and his sight. A homebound teacher said he was almost a vegetable. Dante was in a wheel chair, had a feeding tube and could not walk or talk. He did not have an ounce of independence. It’s amazing how much he has overcome and he said im really happy to be able to eat by myself. It truly tooched me too see someone with so much hope and excitement for the future. He has really inspired our school to keep our heads high and appreciate everything we have!
