I Shouldn’t Have Touched The Scissors

I see you eyeing those scissors, don’t you touch them. Don’t touch those scissors, I know you’re tempted though. If your younger sister asks you anything about hair, ignore it and walk away. Don’t look into her eyes, no matter what. Here aqua eyes are controlling, and you can’t say no to her cute, smiling face when she looks up to meet yours. The words, “ Can you cut my hair? ” will flow out of her mouth, and drown your thoughts. You want to do it, and your mind is overcome with the idea. Stay strong, don’t let her win, don’t let her cloud your thoughts.

Don’t “practice” on the dolls. They don’t grow their hair back, I know you’re surprised by that. The artificial hair is like thin strands of plastic. If you do cut the dolls hair, it will look like they are recovering from baldness.

You and Mackenna will end up giggling in the empty space the couches make up. You know, the square-shaped space that you always play in? Yup, that's where I’m talking about, this will ruin that space if you do it. Your parents will close it up because they want to be able to see you at all times. Don’t say that the future you didn’t warn you… actually, don’t say anything about contact to your future self, it makes you seem insane.

The hair falls on the ground of your favorite corner, not sounding alert to anyone. You might think you can get away with it, and even though your sister’s face is looking away, you can tell she’s smiling, and it makes you feel like you’re doing the right thing. Her light blue eyes and dirty blonde hair will fill your thoughts. You’ll feel dread, from being found by your parents. You’ll even be surprised that you were able to get this far. But still, the crunch of hair being cut will stick with you, no matter how hard you try to forget… but you won’t forget because you have to go get a haircut, but you get what I mean.

See Ashleys C.D. player? Don't touch it… the trash would be fine but that doesn’t matter because you won’t do it. Don’t, repeat, don’t use the C.D. player to dispose of the evidence… your sister will be so horrified, she won’t even yell at you. She’ll be in too much shock to even be mad, and the only thing she will say is “Oh my god…” It might be in your best interest to NOT use a C.D. player as a trash can. Imagine what would happen if someone tried to use it with all that hair in it.

If you want to feel very shameful, then you should ignore everything in this note. Everyone will come over and discuss things about you, but they're not good. You’ll start crying out of guilt and shame, feelings that you will lose when you grow older, with lots of other emotions like empathy and fear. You’ll curl up into a ball and huddle up to your dad, still not knowing what you did wrong. Your sister also will wonder why you’d be in trouble.

A tip of advice, don’t cut your sister's hair… or dolls hair… or any hair at all. Just stay away from hair, go bald if you must. Just stay away from all forms of hair. You will always remember it and laugh with your sister when someone brings it up, but it’s still something you should not do, unless if you want Mackenna to look like a boy. By looks only, everyone would think that she’s your brother.

Hey, what are you doing? Put those scissors down. Get back here, don’t you DARE do it!
