The Boys of Fall

Growing up with the same boys in the same school is a great thing because after awhile you learn that they are your brothers and they'd do a lot for you. Playing sports is a good way to make a bond and a brotherhood because when you’re in the trenches you fight for each other and if you don’t do your job it can get them hurt. Growing up and play football has taught me a lot about life and treating others right it has also taught me how to be a good parent in the future.

Some of my best memories are in the locker room or football field. Because we have a massive slip n slide in the locker room. Losing my senior brothers this year is going to be hard for me because we were so close to each other. But there are pros and cons to it because I get to see them left and go into the world ready and some will play football in college. I was also sad because it was their last game they’d play in high school.

But at the end of the year there are other sports I can play with them and I definitely won’t be the last time I talk to them. Some othe the younger kids will could up and it will be my job to do what the seniors did with me. I will have to teach them a lot and they will probably teach me a lot. I can’t wait for next year and I know it will be a good season.

I’ve seen not just myself but other guys on the football team improve on their life skills and their skills in high school like getting good grades and once in awhile we would help each other as a team if we didn’t understand  something in school and that just proves that we didn’t just love the game of football but we also love each other as teammates.
