How to get there DEPRESSION

My thoughts on living with depression is well its weird; you don’t know if your family will look at you different or if your friends don’t want to hang because they don’t know what to do when you may feel sad or what to end it all.

One of the worst experiences was when we were at Six Flags and out of nowhere I started crying and I couldn't breathe. I felt so overwhelmed I couldn't walk. I was so scared my mom quickly noticed and took charge; she pulled me aside and sat me at a bench and I began telling her everything that was going on. She told me she would be there for me and since then I’ve been getting better and better.

Depression is a mood disorder that causes a persistent feeling of sadness and loss of interest, also called major depressive disorder or clinical depression. It affects how you feel, think and behave and can lead to a variety of emotional and physical problems. You may have trouble doing normal day-to-day activities. Sometimes you may feel as if  life isn’t worth living.

Depression relapse is very common; I have relapsed a lot only because when I get into drama and people talk bad about me. I believe other people believe that too. Then I put bad thoughts into my brain and it makes me wanna leave and makes me feel not worth living because people are talking bad about me. My mom sits me down  when l do this ,and she tells me that Im beautiful, that all the stuff is made up, and the best thing she says is i'm worth living for.

Depression is rough but I've learned you can always get through it; nothing is impossible. Some ways to get thru it is open up to people, never keep stuff in because when you let it out its gonna hurt so much more, get help and tell your parents. I got through it and if you're reading this and going through this just know you're not the only one; lots of people go through this and you’re not alone. If you feel like no one loves you know I do so don’t give up.
