Broken-hearted to beauty over the horizon

One fine afternoon I met this one boy from school. His name was Aaron Smith. He was a 6th grader when we met, but he used to be my best friend. We talked every day, laughed, and made jokes 24/7. Until one day in a band, we had a field trip to the Dallas Cowboys stadium, just for a tour not to perform or anything. And he and I were together laughing and making jokes sitting in the stands, with some of my other friends.

Names were Emmy and Cayden but then he asked me a question that wasn’t a surprise, but as you know he asked me a question that wasn’t a surprise, but as you know, he asked me, `` Do you wanna date ¨ and I said yes but little did I know that was going to be a mistake later on. So after the trip, it was all good for a few days, until one day we just decided we weren’t going to work. No one cried or anything but it hurt, later on, only because our friendship was kinda ruined. So then at a point, we stopped talking, and it hurt me because I was there when he needed me but when I needed him he was nowhere to be found, and just as time went on I smelt he was turning fake so I dropped him.

And he always was one of the reasons I had trust issues, and ever since that day I wish I never said yes and maybe we would still be cool but I don’t think so. The taste of tears, sadness because I might have lost my best friend even though we dated. He was still my baby. And someone I can talk to is gone. But sooner or later I’m going to have to get over him. As time passed I grew and learned that it is ok to lose someone close.

Do you, you can always get a new best friend and that’s exactly when I met my boy best friend who still is, to this day. Keron might not have been in my life as long as Aaron, but the bond I and Keron have is unbreakable.

And we will never see each other till the day we die. He turned sadness into happiness and ever since he made me who I am today, without Keron by my side I don’t know what I would’ve become. Imagine having someone close to you someone you feel like you trust by your side so-called but eventually ends up turning back on you, well that was Aaron. Keron was never like that, he’s straightforward and so trustworthy. If Keron never walked in my life I promise you my trust would never have been so generous now. I don’t know how you turn a broken heart into a pure full heart Keron is my savior and my brother till the day I pass. Without him, I can’t do anything he’s my medicine and the voice in my head to help me calm down.

All I can ever say is thank you to him, and I truly hope my and his friendship stays together and never breaks.
