When I was young my parents wanted me to be active so they signed me up for multiple sports like soccer, tee ball, and basketball. None of them clicked except baseball, I started playing baseball when I was four years old and haven’t stopped since. When I started playing travel ball I knew that baseball was the sport I wanted to play my whole life. I will never forget the excitement I had after my travel ball team won the world series. But the fountain of youth couldn’t stop my years of travel ball from coming to an end. After the travel ball came to an end, I started playing high school baseball. And although high school baseball isn’t as fun and exciting as travel ball, high school baseball is where you start to understand the game and get better. But I know one day the fountain of youth will not be able to save me from high school baseball either. And after high school baseball ends my journey that I've been on since I was seven years old, will most likely come to an end. My fountain of youth is starting to dry up and I’m running out of water.
