Lil Rhino
One of my biggest memories that really stands out in my life is the day i got my first dog Lil Rhino.
I remember like it was yesterday, November ,19th 2010. My Dad was driving me to meet my close friend, Jesus, who had my dog. Lil Rhino was named by Jesus. He said he just looked like the kinda dog that would have that name. Rhino was three months old when I got him. He’s a male German Shepherd and pit-bull mix. I was excited and anxious in the car too see my puppy. My dad was too, he always wanted a dog for our family. On the other hand my mom wasn't, because she thought it was only going to make a mess and cause trouble.
Jesus is my close friend. I’ve known him since November. We became close very fast and before you know it, two weeks later out of all the eight dogs his cousin was giving away, he chose the cutest and quietest dog for me.
I was looking through the window in the truck from left to right looking for Lil Rhino.
Then my Dad backed up the truck slowly. So I look through the rearview mirror, and there I see Jesus walking with his hands in his pockets. The puppy stayed behind him because of its short attention span. Jesus then stopped and call the puppy, who would start following him again. When my dad stops the truck I get out and go towards Jesus, He picks up Lil Rhino and puts him into my arms. He has light brown beige fur, a pink nose from the cold, and small little ears. He was so Cute! I say thank you to Jesus and go back inside the truck. Right then and there me and my Dad grew attached to him.
Lil Rhino has grown, and so have his little small ears of his. He has really nice colored fur, and the pink nose of his has faded away. He’s crazy and wild, but adorable, sweet, lovable, and friendly. Jesus likes the way Rhino has grown into a good dog, though he says he's gotten fat.. Lie by the way. Everybody who has met Rhino grew very attached to him, especially my family.
