Ice Skating

On May 11th, my friend Julia was having a birthday party at an ice skating ring. Before the party, Julia, some other people and I went to Wal-Mart to get snacks and cake for the party. Julia, Hailie and I didn’t care what we were wearing because we had on sweat pants with flip flops and long sock on. Once we got there, we went inside and waited for the rest of the people to get there.

When people got there, we put on our skates and walked our way to the skating ring. At first I was scared to go on the ice because I knew I would fall and people at the party would stare at me. But then I thought to myself, I don’t care what people think because in Wal-Mart I didn’t care if people stared at me. You have to face your fears don’t you? Well I faced mine and went on the ice.

But to me, I didn’t do half bad on the ice because I only fell twice. Hailie and I raced across the ring and I lost; I am just not good at ice skating. About 30 minutes later, we all had pizza and headed back on the ice. 30 minutes after that, all of us had vanilla cake. Sadly after the cake, it was time to leave. Ice skating was a lot of fun that honestly I could of stayed for two more hours. Maybe if I have a birthday party it could be at an ice skating ring.
