Sitting on the nice green antique couch, the breeze hit me from the open door. This green couch is extremely ugly, it looks like a couch that would have been considered ‘Hip’ in the late 1970’s. My grandfather walked in the large sun filled room with a groan that made me jump, his old rickety body took small shuffles towards the television set and he changed the channel to a black and white movie, my grandfather loves old movies, they remind him of his childhood which was a long time ago. I rose from the couch and allowed my grandfather to rest. “You’re too kind son,” he slowly sank into the couch “You should go and help your uncle Miguel repair the fence out by the corral” I reluctantly headed outside and embarked on a brisk walk to the corral. 1 hour goes by and the clouds start brewing like something out of a horror movie then the sky got dark and it started booming. My uncle and I stared at each other and began bolting home, my uncles tall lanky body trudging through the thick dark brown mud. After 5 minutes we made it back and my grandfather was sitting in the same spot watching the same movie only this time he was sleeping. I stretched and walked to my room and layed down. I couldn't believe how tired I was and i slowly drifted to sleep ready to do it all again.
