My Silver Necklace
On a cool sunny day in July my dad and I went to forest park to set up my birthday. We went early so we can reserve a spot. We set up tables and chairs I heard the wind blowing. After we set up everything my dad says to me “Let’s throw the football” so I said ok. We started throwing for a long 1 hour, since it was really cold in the morning I looked at my hands and it was turning red my dad threw it again but fast so I said “ow!”
Finally everybody showed up I got excited like a firework. We played with all my friends and family we were crazy like we drank a whole case of energy drinks. Later my Aunt called us over screaming at us “Time for presents and cake”. I opened up the first one it was a hat that had my name on it after I got through all my presents I got to the last present it was small like a jewelry box but I couldn't open it because my dad said it was a special one.
Later on after the party my dad said lets go so I did, my dad gave me the present I opened it, and it was a Ikaika necklace I had my eyes so opened like a pirate who found treasure. Except that moment ended when my mom said “your not responsible enough, you will lose it”. So I’m waiting till I’m older then I will get something that will mean something.
