Every since he switched schools things were not the same. We do not hang out as much anymore, and do not talk much. Even though we don't see each other as much anymore, I can still reflect on the memories we once had.

Chapter 1: A Long Lost Friend

“A Long Long Lost Friend”
When I was a kid, there was a friend of mine, with the name of Kyle Lindsey. I met him at the daycare I used to go to during the summer as a kid. The daycare was run by a woman, named Tamara. Kyle and I technically met when we were one year old. Ever since that moment, we just connected.
Growing up there, we always used to hangout and do fun things together. Even though he lived in Waterford and I lived in Clarkston, we still hung out at each others houses when we were younger. I remember one special moment when we were about 8, we both built our best Yughio card decks and dueled each other. When we were about 8 years old,  we both collected Yughio cards and had a ton of good ones. Back then I used to always ask my mom if I could go to K-Mart and get a new pack. I used to get a ton of them. I had decks, tins everything. Me and Kyle had been waiting to duel and it was finally gonna happen. I ended up winning 2 out of 3 duels and we never ‘dueled’ again. We also both golf. Occasionally we go out and play 18 holes together. Especially the 9th grade summer, we played a ton. One of our favorite courses to play is Oakhurst. One of the days we were playing 18 holes, Kyle hadn’t been playing that good through holes 10,11,12 and 13. He just couldn't get in a groove. After hole 13 he said “I am SO BAD” you could just tell by everything he was saying he didn't want to be out there. “My clubs are literally trash!”, “Bro I always suck when I play with you!”. He had yelled this all after one hole. But on the 14th hole, he walked up to the 175 yard par 3, with a 6 iron, titleist golf ball, and a tee in hand. Kyle always gets mad on the golf course, and after 4 bad holes you could tell he was heated. Even with the anger, he stepped up there, gripped the club, and ripped the ball toward the green. You could tell by his body language, he liked it. The sun was so bright we couldn't see the ball. All we heard was a bang! We had both assumed it was just the ball hitting a tree. Kyle began to get heated again. He walked up to the hole just to check if it had been in there. And believe it or not it was. Kyle had just got a hole in one, something I haven't even gotten before. That was easily one of the best golfing moments of my life, and the best moment us golfing together.
Kyle has always been an inspiration to me my whole life, but if there was one thing I would criticize, it would be how mean he is to his siblings. One certain time he did this was when Kyle and I were 13 years old. It was a warm, sunny, summer day in Waterford, Michigan. Kyle has 3 siblings, Ryan who is 11 (At the time), Lee whos is 7 (At the time), and Lauren who is 8 (At the time). Ryan was coming home from a friends house, and Kyle and I were inside his house upon his arrival.  Ryan walked up to the door, not know what was gonna happen to him very soon. He slowly creeped up the stairs while staring at his phone, tap, tap, tap, up the stone steps leading to his above average sized house. You could hear the wind howling in the trees. Ryan opened the door and began to walk into his house, but Kyle was hiding right next to the door, as Ryan walked in, he scared him, making Ryan drop his phone right on the cold gray tile. The phone smacked right on it. Kyle stood there laughing and began to beat him up. That was one thing I never understood Kyle would do, he is such a nice person most of the time but to his siblings he can be very mean.
Even though we still talk today, I wish we that he went to Clarkston and not Notre Dame Prep. Just think about all the memories we could have added to our bright history .but even though he goes there, I still look up to him because he is one of my best friends, and a great person.
