Although I was slightly scared of this new experience, waves of great exhilaration and moments of panic swept over me.  I was completely in awe of my surroundings. The colors of the fish and coral were so bright and beautiful! Coral reefs were full of vivid colors; they reminded me of a sunset, with the bright oranges and pinks. Other reefs were quite dull and boring, composed of mossy greens and light browns. The fish were having a busy morning in finding their own food and making sure they weren’t someone else's meal. The master diver took us to what seemed like an underwater jungle. The forest greens of seaweed, swaying back and forth like it was dancing in the current. I ran my fingers through it, feeling the slime. Looking down at this massive jungle, not knowing what kind of creature was hiding in there, watching me as if I were its prey, gave off an eerie feeling. Chills were sent down my spine. Not being able to see the ocean floor, my mind went overtime imagining what kind of monsters might be hiding there. I contained my fear and started to run my fingers through the green softness of the plants until a creepy lurker popped out and decided to come at me.  His body was olive green, long and slender like a snake.  My family watched this brief interaction and I could visibly see their concern even with their masks on.  The creature was an Electric Eel and very deadly.  He popped up and then went on his way minding his own business.
