Final Memoir

Morgan, Akane, Andrew, Jared, Princeton, and I all went to school, back in seventh grade, at my old school.  It was becoming a bad place at school, with all of the teachers leaving, staff leaving, and the overall school.  Back before I got done with seventh grade, I was told that I was switching schools, and that I’d have to say goodbye to all of my friends.  Most of them lived in the Lakeview/Springfield area, so they didn’t have to drive far to go to school.  I lived in Pennfield, so it was a little far to keep driving all the way over there everyday.  My mom also noticed, like everyone else, that the school was going downhill fast, and there was no way it was going to get better.  The principal left, and the vice principal left, and a lot of the great teachers left.  The school didn’t have enough substitutes, to keep it running.

Our conversations have gotten to be sent to each other farther apart.  Soon it just became Morgan, Andrew, Akane and I.  It has gotten kind of hard to communicate with each other.

This morning when I got up, I got my breakfast, and I sat at the table.  I opened up my chromebook, and I loaded my Email, Facebook, and Accuweather.  I read through the usual History email that comes up at 6:00 a.m. every morning.  I checked Accuweather and noticed that it was supposed to get colder throughout the week, which I personally don’t want.  When I opened my personal email, I got an email from an old friend that I haven’t heard since last year.  When I opened it, I had this happy feeling that we could still communicate with each other.  While I was reading it, it seemed to make me feel young again, because I haven’t talked with her much as we got older.

Now as some of the days has passed, I have thought about how time has really gotten in between us. I’ve decided to try to make a group chat in email, and then we can all chat together.  It’s kind of hard to keep everyone up on Gmail, because they have like every other social media besides Facebook, which is what I have.  Most of them have phones, but I do not.
