We rushed to the car with excitement because my family and friends were all going roller skating. In addition, a week later we were going on a cruise. But that was in a week, so meanwhile, we got to Terry Hall rollerskating rink and ran in to pay and get our skates on. We rapidly got into the skating rink and started skating all around.

All of us were having so much fun. Smelling the pizza, we got so hungry and decided to take a little break. While eating my pizza, I started skating around the tables. Once everybody was done eating, we hopped back into the skating rink.

Then it was like I could feel it happening, at one moment Jenna was up and having the time of her life, and the next she was on the ground in tears. We all rushed over to hers and she told us that she had fell on her arm and that it felt like she had broken it. I felt absolutely terrible for her. We stayed for around ten more minutes to see if the pain in her arm would go away, but it didn’t. We returned our skates and got in the car to go home.
Once we got home, Jenna put an ice pack on her arm to see if it would help. We tried so many different things to help Jenna like, heating it, cooling it, we tried everything but nothing worked.

“The pain won’t go away, Jenna said, “I think my arm might be broken.”The next day, Jenna’s arm felt horrible so her dad brought her to the med center for an x ray of her arm.It was taking a very long time for her to get the x rays back. Meanwhile, we were at home anxiously waiting for them to return.

My mom said, “ Let’s not worry about it right now, if her arm is broken we will just have to deal with it.”

The people at the med center had jenna and her dad take a trip to the hospital. Jenna doesn’t really like hospitals so she was very nervous to go. Then, they  got some terrible news. Jenna had broken a bone in her upper arm called the humorous. She couldn't believe that she broke her arm. Jenna got  a purple cast all the way up her shoulder.

When she got home that day she was very confused she didn’t know how she was going to be able to do things on the cruise like swimming, and playing games at the shows every night. Jenna was looking forward to having fun, but after her cast, she wasn’t sure that she was going to be able to do many things. The next time I saw her, I gave her a massive “I’m sorry” hug. A week flew by like that. All of the sudden it was time to leave for the cruise. She was uncomfortable for the ride to the airport in Detroit and the plane ride to Florida. We took additional time to do security check because they had to check Jenna’s cast to make sure that she was not hiding anything in her cast. Me and my mom went to go get her a cast cover so that Jenna could go swimming and shower while they went to go get some snacks for the plane ride. This was the first cruise that any of us had ever been on and i don’t think that it was pleasant for Jenna to have a cast on it.

Even though thing didn’t work out truly how we planned, we still had a great time on our cruise. Jenna still didn't get to do everything, but she still got to do several different things. She got to play mini, go down the waterslides, put her feet in the ocean, and plenty more. I think that she had almost as much fun as if she hadn’t have had a cast on. Overall, I don't think that the cast affected her much physically, but it affected her emotionally. She was filled with so many emotions. I learned to be loads more careful before going on special trip so i don't end up like how Jenna did.
