Have you ever heard about,seen or done a weird christmas tradition? In my family and in many others it's a tradition to open one gift on christmas eve. Or you may have a turkey dinner. You may be surprised but there are many weird and some gross christmas traditions. These traditions are beyond weird. Some stay more on the normal side but will never really fit in. Come on who decorates a pineapple and calls it a tree.

Is Christmas the most wonderful time of the year? For some may not think that. In Iceland, a tradition is to take family trip to a cemetery and remember their deceased relatives. As a sign of remembrance many candles are lighted. And some may just go to see the candles. In some areas there is a place for the candles to go. It usually happens on Christmas eve and almost 75 percent of families go there. What a sight to see.

A christmas animal could be a sheep or a camel. Well not for Sweden, The Gävle Goat is a sacred tradition. It brings gift to children and is a symbol of sacrifice. But on one New Year's Eve at midnight it was set on fire. And because of that, it is a tradition to burn it every year. Talk about crazy.
