It was my first year with my new soccer team Wheeling United Soccer Club or W.U.S.C for the begining of the season we had a Memorial Day tournament in Naperville. It was really hot there and i was sweating before we even started playing. Before our first game we started to warm up, we did Dynmaic stretch, circle stretch,El rondo (A passing game), and we shot a little to warm up the keeper Kevin.

There was three games in the group stage. and Two more if your team advanced.The first game with my new team went great we won 5-2. Angel and I were the captains that game and we had to tell everyone when to make a run, pass and tell them to comunicate too. Guerro scored 2 goals, they were beautiful goals, Angel scored 2, and I scored a penalty. We were all happy, I was happy with my new team and happy to be able to play with them.

The Semi-finals was hard we played Sockers Academy. We were playing in the artificial grass field. It was super hot the grass getting hotter and making the rubber dirt melting on to the cleats. Sweat dripping from my face and onto the field. Once first half was over we go to our coach to tell us what to improve on. Second half started and we started with ball. Since we were playing bad on defense they switched me and danny positions, he played center midfield and I played stopper a positions im not use to. I was playing pretty good as a sweeper but then they took out Danny due to a minor Injurys so i went back to center mid for the rest of the game. We ended up winning 5-2 and moved on to the Finals.

It was the Finals and it was still very hot that the ref and to carry a water bottle with ice with him during the game. We used the same formation 4-4-2 I stayed at center mid for the first 20 min of the first half. Angel gets fouled and kicks it towards me. I take on the goalie but he hits me a little and gets me off balance. I shot the ball but it was going slow since i was off balance, then one of the defender clears the ball. I get switched to be a striker because my coach knew I was hungry for a goal. Danny passes me the ball and I stop for a little to see what i can do with the ball. I see a wide open stop I can go through so i start dribbling and take on not 1 but 5 of the players on the other team, once I got passed them I shoot and score I start celebrating and hugging my teammate we went on to win 4-0 one goal from me and a hat trick from Guerro. We got our trophy after the game and the 1st place medal. Angel got to take the trophy home since he was player of the game, but I was still happy my team and I got through this difficult tournament as a team.
