Voices of LBHS
When I was told by my parents that I had to cook the chicken that was on the kitchen counter. I was nervous because it was the first time I cooked a meal for my siblings and I. Also my parents went to church for a meeting. They told me to rinse it with water first then season it with spices, black pepper, and some salt. After seasoning it put in the oven and cook it for one hour but you have to flip each side in 30 min. When it was time to cook I did the steps that my parents told me to do and as I would flip the meat on the other side the heat was hot as if it was lava flowing. After the food was done I set up the table for dinner and I gather everyone at the table and we ate the food that I cooked and proud of the food that I cooked for the first time.
