Everyday. I see him every day. None of my friends like him very much, but that's ok because I do. He is shorter than me, but that doesn’t matter. He is funny. I laugh even when nobody else does. I've known him for over a year, started out back in September of last year. All because our classes got changed, our lives changed forever with something as simple as a changed class. I always called him best friend, never really using his real name. Everyday. I would see him, I would walk into class and see his face and his curly hair. Just the thought of him made me glow, and I'm pretty sure he knew it but that's ok. We became lab partners, in the beginning, we were strangers. It didn’t take very long for that to change though, we went to Saturday schools together and watched movies. I honestly couldn’t believe it. He seemed to like me back. Every day, we hugged. Most of the time it was only once or twice. When we would see each other on our way to English class we could hug. That was the best part of my day. It made me glow for the rest of the day, just because of a hug. Time went on, fast forward one month. It's October. Football games every Friday. He would have to go to everyone because he was in the band. I sat next to him while he played for the first time. I had butterflies. I didn’t pay any attention to the game that day. I just watched him play. This probably sounds silly and childish but I didn’t care, that was the best place to be at the moment. As time went on, we continued to talk. Everyday. On the phone for hours, texting until two in the morning. Both of us exhausted, but we didn’t care. Time moved on like it always does. Every day like clockwork. English class, hug. Glow for the rest of the day until the fifth period when I get to see him again. It’s like a new dream every day. Even when I would be sick, I would still walk to school so I could see him after because I just needed my hug to fix my day. Every day was a new day, but yet the same. The same amazing, warm, spine-tingling hug, but different conversations. Sometimes we would talk about what we like and what we had in common. If I asked you to guess you probably couldn’t. We both loved… Salt. of all things, salt. The next thing I knew it was already my birthday. The first week of November, that year I got a lot of things. What did he get me? Salt of course in a salt grinder for coarse salt because he new hat was my favorite. He also got me one other thing, cereal. Of all things, he got e cereal. I didn’t know how he knew that I loved eating cereal dry versus with milk but he did. That weekend I will never forget. It was November 11, he took me to the mall. It was one of the best days of my life. On the way there we were just talking about everything and nothing at the same time. The first thing we did was go watch a movie, it was the new pokemon movie,( not my choice) which surprisingly was kind of interesting. After that, we actually went inside the two-story mall. The first store we went to? Guess. The store is actually called Guess, It was his favorite store out of all of them. I said I was cold under my breath and he gave me his jacket, which happened to be my favorite one. After some shopping, we went for food. We shared Mongolian noodles. Afterward, we got those strange balls that are made with liquid nitrogen. When you eat them you can blow smoke out, like a dragon. Oh yea, they were called Dragon’s Breath. It was already five o’clock when we finished. We knew we had to go home because my mom was blowing up my phone. When we got home, he shook my mother’s hand all politely. Gave me my hug, and left. That was one of the best weekends, but so was the next months on December 10th. It was about a month after our little weekend “date” and it also happened to be my best friend’s birthday. That was the day my changed... for the better. He finally asked me out. Now, its almost been a year with him. The guy that gives me amazing memories everyday. The one that makes me smile for no reason. The guy that means the world to me. Every day, I still get my hugs. Every day, I still talk to him until we fall asleep. Everyday is the new best day of my life because of him.

At the time I wrote this, I was dating this boy. Until I wasn't, now he does our routine with the new girl. Every day.
