In my family, we’re five people, my two parents, my brother, and my sister. I am the youngest. My brother is six years older than me and my sister is four years older. When I was younger, these two were very close despite the quarrels between them. My sister had developed a technique against my brother, it worked very well. She was crying and screaming on purpose pretending her brother was bothering her so that this one get scolded. However, I was closer to my parents than to my brother and sister because they thought I was too young to play with them. I wasn’t sad or angry against them because I didn’t realize the situation and because I was too young to do the activities they were doing. After growing up, they still talk to each other, but they are less close.

When my brother realized that I had grown up, we became closer. We began to do more activities together, sometimes without asking my opinion. My sister wanted to spend time with us, but my brother didn’t want because he thought he would not do the same activities with her I was happy because I was spending time with my brother, and I had fun. On other side, I was sad because my sister was alone, and I couldn’t do anything. After talking about it with my sister, she said that she felt sad and alone because she saw us having fun and have a good relationship with each other without her.

When I was nine or ten years old, my brother went to a military high school. I continued to do activities with him during the weekend when he came back home. It was less frequent and thanks to that, I became closer to my sister. At this moment, I was happier than sad because the activities with my brother were less frequent, but I had more fun with my sister and she didn’t feel lonely. I just discovered that I liked this relationship more because we had less years apart and therefore more things in common. I became so much closer to my sister even if I kept in touch with my brother.

Five years later, my brother works as a landscaper. He works a lot and doesn’t have a lot of free time. Despite this, we still have good time even if we are not always together, and we found that we have many things in common. My sister is studying osteopathy at Nantes University in France. She is now far from home and only comes home at the weekend. Because of that, I don’t get to see her very often. Just as I was getting to know her better and spend more time with her, I decided to go in Albania. This decision doesn’t help me to have a closer relationship with my siblings because I can’t see them or doing activities with them. I can just talk to them on the phone.
