Through Time
My life is happiness, mirth shared with a family
My life is sadness, leaving behind friends I wanted to keep
My life is healing, more prepared every day
My life is festering, animosity hidden underneath
My life is laughter, shared with beloved friends
My life is tragedy, memories slipping away
My life is joy, surrounded by support and love
My life is sorrow, unable to take it
My life is fulfillment, what I ask for handed to me
My life is longing, what I truly want nowhere to be found
My life is a blur, rushing from one spot to another
My life is a crawl, hours spent lying awake
My life is bliss, feeling the warm sun across my body
My life is agony, locked down by my own perception
My life is brightness, sight reaching farther than the mind can keep up with
My life is darkness, drowning in an ocean of night.
My life is excitement, learning to fight for a sense of adventure
My life is terror, the use of the knowledge an extreme danger
My life is hope, a future full of prosperity
My life is regret, bearing scars from unstable ground
My past is far gone
Ash left buried in the sand
Now out of my sight
The future is hidden, out of my sight
Uncertain as the waves, Schrödinger's pet project
Dim as a cave, prospects below the ground
For now, it is unimportant, a journey for another day
My life is now, living in the present
