Ever since I was born, basketball has always been a part of my life, whether I was playing the sport or watching NBA games on tv or in person. Before the Fiserv Forum was built, the BMO Harris Bradley Center was their arena. Although I miss the Bradley Center because it holds my first memories of attending a buck’s game, the Fiserv Forum shares the most memories.

After the 2017/2018 NBA season, the Bradley Center was closed permanently and destruction went from January 2019 to May 2019. In August of 2018, the Fiserv Forum arena was finished and became the newest basketball arena in all of the country. This is the newest entertainment arena in Wisconsin since 2002. The Bradley Center had 1200 more seats than Fiserv Forum but the benefits of the newer arena makes the experience of watching a basketball game more worth it. And if it’s not basketball, then all of the concerts and other things that are shown in the arena.

The company FiserV is an IT company that provides financial technology services to people and things like banks, credit unions, mortgage, insurance, leasing and finance companies, etc. Their headquarters is located in Brookfield and they are the company that is the new face of the buck’s arena. This isn’t just for basketball too, “More than just an arena, Fiserv Forum is the central hub for recreation in Milwaukee, connecting communities, neighborhoods and generations…” (Fiserv).

The significance of the new arena is its building structure and its multipurpose. The way the arena was built makes nearly every seat a good seat. Over 9,000 LEDs light fixtures are used and there’s other high tech features like the 10 escalators and elevators, along with 800 HDTVs (Fiserv Fact Sheet). When just looking at the arena from the outside, it brings you interest just from how it’s structured. Fiserv Forum has been and will continue to bring Milwaukee together.

What’s built around the arena is very interesting too. There’s an outdoor section named “Deer District,” that holds several thousand people and it’s basically a big watch party. There’s many newly built restaurants and bars all around the Deer District that make the away games more entertaining.

The funny thing is, is that the Milwaukee Bucks have been having some of their best seasons ever since this arena was built. Fiserv Forum provides an amazing experience while watching these games. There’s a fast food section basically every 100 feet that will keep you occupied while watching the bucks win. With 4 pro-shops all around Fiserv, you will most likely walk out of the arena with a shirt purchased. Personally, I think one of the nicer things during your experience is there’s a theme night for most of the games in the arena. This means bags or hats, bobbleheads, etc are handed out to the first ≈ 5,000 people. All of this information is from personal experience of attending their basketball games and recommend attending as well. Even if you aren’t a very big fan of the bucks or concerts, etc, Marquette’s college basketball teams play in the arena.

I have gone to many Milwaukee Bucks games and when I walk out of the arena, I always have the same reaction. Fiserv and Milwaukke really did a good job with connecting together and creating this masterpiece of an arena. With Milwaukee being one of the best current teams in the NBA league, or with Milwaukee having 200+ events every year in Fiserv Forum, I really suggest that you go to an event and experience this. I promise that you will walk out of the Fiserv Forum arena with a memorable experience.
