Home Isn't Home
I've finally reached the realization,
with the empty rooms and thin walls that bounce echoes of your voices.
There is no more random laughter at 3 in the morning,
or chatting after a long day at school.
The house sits empty with one childhood room left,
mine.
I procrastinate the idea of coming home now,
knowing I don't have much to come home to.
The constant deserted feeling of not having the two people I've known all my life,
be there as I grow older.
I hate being alone.
in this house, this school, this neighborhood.
I wish you guys never grew up,
or at least I wish I never grew up
last.
