Friends
Surrounded by friends, good laughs, and times I wish would forever last. Moonlight swims, endless fishing, hours and hours of playing in the blazing sun. We laughed, we played, and we teased, all while the thought never occurred to us of going home. All day and all night, we laughed and laughed like there was no tomorrow. Four wheelers, hours out by the lake, new discoveries, treasures found, and every day there was always something new to do. Time came and went, and as soon as I knew it we were in the car, packed up and ready to go. At that very moment, when the suburban wheels hit our driveway, it hit me. I realized that academics and wealth can only bring you so far in life; you need friends to have a fun healthy life.
