My Freedom
There I am. I’m at the top of the hill, my board under my feet. I feel a cold wind come in from behind. I close my eyes. The best of the song that blasting through my headphones warns me it is time to go. I look down once more. Eyes closed again. I left my feet off the ground with the board still attached. I jump three times then I head down with twist and turns of my body and board. When I finally reach the bottom, I’m pumped though whipped. My blood is pumping. I unstrap one of my feet and continued my way back over to the chair lift. The process repeats. This process is my life. My freedom.
