Daughter of an Alcoholic
The repetitiveness; the predictability; seems to no longer amuse her bitter soul.
She’s been led and let down so many times in her life. She’s heard verbal abuse that nobody should be exposed to. She’s discovered what she believed as the strongest male in my life to be the weakest. She’s stopped hoping for what is real.
All her expectations can’t be depended on through another. All the verbal abuse can only stop through her ears. All strength has to be her own.
All her expectations have been let go.
She is the daughter of an alcoholic.
