You think your school is small? Try going to a school where there are less than 500 students. Talk about small town. I hated going there, it just didn’t feel right. Almost like, I was missing something. That’s why I moved back to Dubuque. It was probably one of the hardest things I've had to do. My decision was going to affect a lot of people. I had many reasons for moving, and if I had known the outcome, I would have done it along time ago. Yes I would miss my friends, but I needed a new start, something fresh. I wanted something different.

I had thought long and hard about moving. Was this the right thing for me? How was this going to affect the people I love? Was this the right choice? After doing research about Hempstead and talking it over with my dad, it sounded like this was going to work. Maybe this was a good thing. After all, I did need a new start. So the process began, I started telling people and packing. I questioned myself everyday until I moved. Then it finally hit me. That ahh hah moment! I finally realized that this is what's best for me. I could tell I was going to be happy and have no regrets.

Leaving my friends behind was another story. The one thing in this town that I would miss would be my friends. Because it was a small town, that means that me and my friends were pretty tight. So it would be ten times as hard to say goodbye. I managed to do it, and we still talk to this day. So in the end everything worked out, and I was beyond happy with the outcome.

Even though moving was one of the hardest things I've had to do, it was the right choice. And I want people to get that, don’t doubt yourself. Follow your dreams and goals and you will be happy in the long run.

This is very well written, and I love your message. :)   My school has had a grand total of ten students, and not all at the same time. It currently has four.
